WHEN YOU FEEL OVERWHELMED.
Last night I was chronicling my week to my best friend and sharing the HIGHS & LOWS. Being grateful for the highs & being tolerant of the lows.
SOMETIMES YOU GET SO DISAPPOINTED YOU LACK WHAT TO DO. You know right? And as I shared, I recollected what I did the last time I felt this way…
– I let go. You see, WHAT YOU HAVE CAPACITY TO CONTROL, CONTROL. Otherwise RELEASE IT. The moment I noticed a spiral of unexpected events and behaviours, I activated my ‘IT DOES NOT MATTER’ mode and by that, I attained stability.
– I ‘clap’ for myself. Usually when I have a series of challenges, I shift focus to how AWESOME I am (I truly am AweZome 😜), how hard I’ve worked 🙌 and how gracious I have been ❤️. I actually tell myself I AM PROUD OF YOU, Sam.
– I open up. There is a VERY CLOSE CAUCUS I keep. Time after time, the people I have opened up to have NEVER FAILED ME. It took a huge risk to get to this point where I could tell how I feel and what I go through but I got there gradually. Now because I can share, I am able to SPREAD THE STRESS & GET POSITIVE VIBES BACK. I need this ALWAYS. You do too.
